Years ago I saw this training and I knew; As soon as there comes a time when I want to do this, I want to do this training first. At the end of December 2020, I finally started the home study, to 'get some inspiration' for my childhood dream; guiding couples to their dream wedding. Halfway through the home study and after a good telephone conversation with Daniëlle, we decided to really pursue that dream and start the Wedding Planner vocational training in September 2021 and ultimately convert it back to the tailor-made professional program.

Fast forward, many on-site sessions, master classes, online meetings and a Wedding Planners Congress, later ultimately taking a completely different path than expected, everything Danielle said on the first day was correct; that this was going to be a road with ups and downs, you would grow as a person and that as soon as you knew 'it' you would notice it.

Actually, Danielle has always been right in that regard, because I have been searching for a long time and also had the feeling that I could not (completely) express my creativity. However, since I knew which direction I wanted to go, this creativity has also been running at full speed and because Danielle offered a tailor-made final assignment, I was also able to shape this creativity.

I have developed myself in all possible aspects and I am very grateful to Danielle for this. Without this process of this education, I would not be where I am today.

What a journey this has been. Starting the training to become a Wedding Planner and having no idea what would come my way. I could already organize things, but what does a wedding entail? That's what I wanted to learn during the training. Danielle and I had to get used to each other. Or let's just say, I had to get used to Danielle. Why? She can throw you into the deep end and just let you figure it out. Quite intense at first, but during the training I started to understand her better and better. It's not bad at all to swim every now and then, Danielle won't let you drown. She is always willing to help you with the questions you have and provides you with feedback.

I really enjoyed developing concepts, creating detailed scripts and using my creativity. Contact with my 'fellow Wedding Planners-to-be' has often made me think. During the live days they give you food for thought about points that you have not yet considered. For me this has been a very important part of my training and I am very happy that we still have good contact with each other.

The training has made me think about what I want to bring to the 'wedding industry' and has therefore brought me closer to myself.

The home training suited me well, great support and enough space to spend your own time. You can use the assignments and materials as you wish. It is a great springboard to become an entrepreneur as a wedding planner or something like that

Home study (2022-2023)

We have been working with WeddingPlanners International for some time. Within our collaboration, transferring knowledge of social media to students is the main focus. It is good to notice that Danielle focuses strongly on what you really need as a wedding planner within the curriculum and it is nice to know that you always get that, plus a little bit more. Because I initially found it very difficult to actually do the home study alone, Danielle gave me an option to do part of the training with her guidance. This gave me more certainty before handing in an assignment. This has helped me enormously, also in my own development! Danielle is an optimistic person, mainly sees your positive sides and knows how to emphasize this.

For years I had been looking for where I could express my creativity, which is not really expressed in my work. Two years ago, Weddingplanners International came into my picture and I contacted them. I have not regretted it for a second, it was nothing but fun from the start! Creating concepts, being creative, fully arranging an internship wedding, working on a styled shoot. Not a moment felt like studying and I finally found something that I really just love! I went into it with an open mind and have personally developed a lot, got to know very nice and sweet people and of course got to know Danielle. She holds a mirror up to you when necessary, has a high level of empathy and I am grateful that I got to know her and learned a lot from her.

The training to become a wedding planner involves so much more than just arranging an unforgettable day for the bridal couple. It is also about entrepreneurship and everything else that comes with it and they know how to deal with that very well at Weddingplanners International. The guidance is really great, clear and direct. They teach you to think and look differently so that you also grow enormously personally and after your training you have a good foundation to build on in all respects. To this day, I have no regrets that I took the training! Since October 2019 started a year of coaching with Danielle and it is so nice that someone watches you and who you can brainstorm with so that you can help your company further. She is very honest and clear. Sets goals with you and ensures that they are manageable and achievable. I got a lot out of it. So much so that I extended the one-year program for another year!

My training adventure started in January 2019 and I was proud to complete it in January 2023.

I started the training with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. What I quickly noticed is that a lot was expected of you in terms of independence.

This training is really entirely your responsibility and you are expected to be the driving force behind what you need from this training.

Experience and listen carefully to yourself what you need. There are many possibilities with this training. You can follow the training at home, in a group or individually.

I started in a group and then I invested in doing it individually and it was well worth the investment.

The team is there for you as a trainer, coach, but also as a person and I think the latter is the most important.

My life, like many of you, has been quite turbulent in recent years due to Corona. Despite these difficult times, Daan and her team have always been very flexible and a listening ear.

In addition to these crazy times, as I call it, I have unfortunately also experienced a lot privately during the time of setting up my company. Daan and her team also helped me think about how to approach certain matters.

After learning enough tools, but especially the network you come into contact with during your training, I completed my first season as a wedding planner last year (2022).

Started the wedding planner training at Weddingplanners International in 2020. Due to corona and my extensive experience in the events industry, I was looking for a new challenge that should be an extension of what I was already doing and opened the door to starting my own company. During the training I learned a lot about the wedding planner profession. In the first phase I mainly received feedback from Fleur and during the writing of the business plan I had regular contact with Danielle.
