Wedding Planners International offers private professional training specifically aimed at wedding planners. Private means that we do not receive any subsidies from the government. We therefore have to finance the organization of our education ourselves. As a result, the investment at WPI is higher than, for example, other courses that are subsidized. However, because our vocational training is officially recognized by CRKBO, we must meet the same standards and legal frameworks as other trainers.

However, our private status gives us the space and flexibility to organize small-scale and personal education that optimally meets the wishes of our participants and the expectations of the industry. After all, this sector is continuously developing, and so is our education. This is of great importance to us, because the industry and our participants determine our right to exist.

NRTO MEMBER The Dutch Council for Training and Education (NRTO) has developed its own quality mark to indicate quality and professionalism in the training market. The NRTO quality mark has been determined by an external certification institution that our organization meets the quality requirements set by the NRTO and was awarded again on July 16, 2024.

How long does the vocational training take?

For the vocational training, the process takes a maximum of one year (12 months). Our training is part-time.
When can I take the exam?

You can take the exam for the first part (Book 1) after submitting all concepts and following the live days.
Who is my mentor/supervisor?

We work with a permanent support team.
Are you recognised?

There is no legally recognized accreditation in the Netherlands for training/courses of less than 1 year. However, the Professional Organization of Wedding Planners Netherlands has given a recommendation for completing the professional training as a Professional wedding planner.
