Wedding Planners International once again receives the NRTO quality mark

Wedding Planners International received the NRTO quality mark on June 16, 2022 and was extended on July 16, 2024.

The NRTO quality mark is an independent recognition for quality and professionalism in the private training market. The NRTO quality mark is issued by the Dutch Council for Training and Education (NRTO), the trade organization for training and education.

An independent, external certification body has determined during an audit that Weddingplanners International meets the quality requirements of the NRTO quality mark.

This allows Weddingplanners International to demonstrate that it meets high standards for transparency about products and services, adequate services, professional dealings with customers and expertise of the staff.

“Extremely happy and grateful, the confirmation that we provide added professional value to our customers and the industry and that this has been recognized by the Council,” says director Danielle van der Lee of Weddingplanners International.

Quality mark provides certainty when choosing a provider

Private training agencies, educational institutions and examination institutes have a wide and diverse range of training forms, techniques and instruments.

This diversity is the strength of the private training sector. The NRTO quality mark functions as a sign of quality and professionalism in the training market. It gives consumers and companies certainty when choosing a training institute, training agency, EVC provider or exam provider.

An increase in the number of wedding planners in the Netherlands

The demand for the number of wedding planners is increasing in the Netherlands. The cause of this may be that both partners are busy and have little time to arrange the wedding. Another reason may be that the bridal couple wants to enjoy themselves to the fullest and therefore outsources the organization of the wedding.

Unlike a lawyer or accountant, the title wedding planner is not a protected title. This means that anyone can call themselves a wedding planner without restrictions or additional conditions.

As a future bridal couple, it is advisable to choose a wedding planner who is affiliated with BWPN (Professional Organization of Wedding Planners Netherlands).

The result of the corona pandemic in 2024

Weddings with two hundred guests are no longer the norm, according to wedding planners. Bridal couples are increasingly choosing to leave distant relatives and acquaintances at home. Money is not the main motive.

Getting married in a small circle was the highest possible option during the corona pandemic. Parties with hundreds of guests are now possible again. Yet couples often keep it small.

"People have seen that a wedding can be different and now dare to make more choices," says Danielle van der Lee of the professional organization of wedding planners BWPN. Corona has therefore left an influence, she notes.
